The Beginning

“The Merritt family is very blessed and fortunate to undertake the restoration of Old No. 4.  We plan to breathe new life into Old No. 4 by making the firehouse our home for years to come.  We thank the City of Mishawaka and Mishawaka Fire Department for their outstanding service and maintenance of Old No. 4.  The firehouse is undergoing a complete restoration to the exterior structure dating back to 1929 and the interior will be preserved with modern conveniences and amenities in period style.”
